Tesseract is the national tabletop game of the Tlaksa Dominion.
NUMBER OF PLAYERS:
4
CONTENT:
- 16 checkered game boards
- 64 cubic pieces (16 red ones, 16 yellow ones, 16 green ones and 16 blue ones)
PREPARATION:
1) Displace the game boards in 4*4 square fashion in such a way that each external tile matches the color of the adjacent board's adjacent tiles.
2) In alphabetical order, each player chooses a color and takes all pieces of the chosen color.
RULES:
- TURN ORDER:
Red player -> Yellow player -> Green player -> Blue player -> (...)
- TURN PHASES:
1) The current player places one of his/her pieces on a tile with no other pieces.
CONCLUSION:
The game ends the moment one of the following happens:
A) 4 pieces of the same player are on horizontally adjacent tiles of the same board.
B) 4 pieces of the same player are on vertically adjacent tiles of the same board.
C) 4 pieces of the same player are on the corresponding tiles of horizontally adjacent boards.
D) 4 pieces of the same player are on the corresponding tiles of tiles of vertically adjacent boards.
In each case, that player wins, and all others lose.
